Water filtration is a big deal to a lot of people. From reducing exposure to PFAS, removing chlorine or lead, or simply making it taste better, a simple Google search for water filters will give you hundreds of options. Each one claims to be the best.
So what is the truth?
My mission is to cut through the noise and look at the science behind effective water filtration to surface which filters are legit, and which just have fancy packaging and expensive marketing budgets.

Hi, I’m Thejus Chakravarthy. I am a very curious person. I read about 200 articles a day, love to learn new things, and generally annoy anyone who knows more than me to teach me what they know. As you can imagine, being the COO of a water filtration company for 5 years meant I asked A LOT of really smart people a lot of really stupid questions. But just knowing stuff isn’t enough.
Luckily, I have a masters in education and training so I’m pretty good at explaining the stuff I know and putting things in perspective.
